Key Responsibilities

• Identify and implement reliability and efficiency improvements to the platform.
• Create and maintain terraform to manage test and production environments.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and other automation tools.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, bi-weekly sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives for the team
• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.js.
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Develop and integrate responsive design-based web applications using full stack Ruby on Rails.
• Work with engineers to support product development from inception to release.
• Respond to, diagnose, and assist in solving production incidents.
• Participate in root cause analysis and blameless post-mortems.

Education and Requirements

• Federal Client requires ship.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering.
• At least five years' experience developing and maintaining large scale applications 5 years on AWS or Azure platform.
• 3 years' experience working in Microsoft Azure.
• Thorough understanding of Azure DevOps Pipelines, CI/CD practices, and Platform as a service (PaaS).
• Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
• Knowledge in implementing and managing DevOps tools such as GitHub ES, Azure DevOps, Swagger, Selenium, and JMeter- Scripting skills.
• Experience in React.js and its core principles such as React patterns, state management libraries (such as Flux or Redux), Props drilling, data sharing among React components.
• Hands-on development experience with projects involving the full stack Ruby on Rails with other Open-Source technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery, Data Tables, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with Azure SQL or other relational databases.
• Knowledge in Azure cloud monitoring tools, application performance monitoring tools, and operational dash-boarding.
• Experience with Azure solutions such as App Services, App Insights, Storage Accounts, Resource Groups, and monitoring tools.
• Ensure SLA's & operational KPI's are met, working as necessary with internal and external support functions when major incidents occur.
