Role: Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer. The ideal candidate would be well versed in many different engineering disciplines including software, electrical, mechanical, and network. This candidate should have experience working in mid to high volume consumer electronics manufacturing developing, deploying, and maintaining automated test systems. Excellent data analysis and debugging skills are also required during test system development as well as to help support existing test stations. This individual should be highly motivated and take initiative to be constantly evaluating current results and striving for continual improvement via a data driven approach.

Responsibilities:

• Supportexisting test stations both on site and remotely
• Developnew automated test systems for new products
• Writetest sequences using National Instruments TestStand as well as develop TestStand custom step types in C
• Design,build, troubleshoot mechanical test fixtures and electrical test equipment interfaces
• Debugand troubleshoot test systems
• Executeand analyze test results
• Developand maintain databases and tools for data analysis and yield improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor'sdegree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer
• Strongprogramming skills in C/C in both Linux and Windows environments. Skills should include multi-threading, interfacing to and controlling hardware such RS-232, network sockets, SSH, USB
• NITestStand including threaded sequences and custom step type usage and development.
• RFtest experience with focus on WiFi and Bluetooth (Litepoint/IQFact )
• Wellversed and comfortable using both Linux and Windows
• Networkengineering including DHCP and iptables.
• Useof Wireshark to troubleshoot and debug network communication issues
• Strongmechanical aptitude and ability to design test fixtures in 3D CAD
• Electricalengineering including interface design, PCB design, assembly, and debug
• Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal
• Documentationand technical writing
