Job Description:

• Develop test plans and validate hardware and firmware based on component level requirements
• Conduct regression testing for both new and existing hardware/firmware to ensure backwards compatibility
• Create automated testing scripts for executing regression tests, firmware updates, and generating configurations
• Perform the setup and verification of hardware components using external test equipment, ensuring proper functionality and validation of hardware components
• Accurately and efficiently document test results, analyze data, and effectively communicate findings with the team and stakeholders while continuously enhancing test methods
• Collaborate with Tier 1/2/Contract Manufacturers vendors to develop and implement component testing strategies, addressing technical inquiries related to testing and validation

What you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• 6 years of experience in hardware validation, with expertise in the following areas ethernet switch design, high-speed interface design and validation, compliance tests for various standards including IEEE (Ethernet), FPD, MIPI, DDR, and PCIe
• Proficiency in automating processes, preferably using Python
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, power and signal integrity, and analog/digital circuits
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment such as bench power supplies, high-speed oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, VNA's, and thermal chambers
• Experience working with high-speed interfaces such as 25G-KR, 10G-KR, 10GBase-T, SFP, QSFP, 1G-T1, PCIe, DDR4, as well as I2C and MDIO
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment and possessing a good understanding of it
• Self-motivated individual with a team player mentality and a proactive attitude.
