The Accounts Payable Merchandise Assistant maintains merchandise vendor accounts and payments to them.

*** Work hours are 7:30 am to 4 pm (fixed schedule) ***

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:**

* Data entry of vendor invoices and invoice corrections

* Resolve discrepancies between vendors invoice and receiving records

* Review and reconcile vendor statements

* Handle all vendor correspondence including phone, written, and email communication

* Daily Reports responsible for the breakdown, distribution, and filing of the daily Keyrec reports

* Filing of invoices, corrections, etc

* Other responsibilities as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:**

* High School diploma

* 2 years of previous experience (business or accounting experience is a plus)

* Attention to detail and accuracy

* Clear communication skills both verbal and written

* Data entry skills

* Basic PC knowledge

* Candidate must be able to work independently

* Analytical
