Puyallup Park Dental is Hiring a Dental Receptionist Near Puyallup, WA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced dental office environment. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related questions
- Collect patient information and update medical records using electronic systems such as Epic
- Assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Coordinate with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Provide administrative support such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Skills:
- Previous experience in medical scheduling or patient service is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Epic is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures is beneficial
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
