Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our dental practice. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for our patients.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- Assist with medical administrative tasks as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and other office equipment
- Experience working at the front desk in a dental or medical setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental practice management systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
