Title: Graphic Designer

Job PurposeThe Graphic Designer plays a vital role in shaping the brand's visual identity and creating compelling design solutions. The primary responsibility is to develop visually stunning and cohesive designs across various mediums, including digital and print, that effectively communicate our brand’s aesthetic, values, and product offerings. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to transform concepts into captivating visuals that resonate with the target audience and enhance the overall experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative design concepts aligned with our company’s brand identity and marketing objectives.
  • Create visually engaging designs for digital platforms, including website graphics, social media assets, email templates, and digital advertisements.
  • Design and produce print collateral such as brochures, catalogs, packaging, and promotional materials that showcase our company’s products and brand messaging.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and content teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all design deliverables.
  • Translate creative briefs and ideas into visually appealing and innovative design solutions that effectively communicate key messages and engage the target audience.
  • Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative design approaches to projects.
  • Incorporate feedback and utilize data-driven insights to iteratively improve designs, enhancing the visual impact and effectiveness of creative assets.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs while adhering to project timelines and priorities.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation of design assets for easy access and retrieval.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and printers as necessary to ensure successful execution of design projects.

Skills/Personal Characteristics

  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to create visually appealing and cohesive designs that reflect our company’s brand aesthetic and values.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effectively articulating design concepts and working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to receive feedback constructively and iterate on designs to meet project goals and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design assets.
  • Curiosity for design trends, emerging technologies, and a continuous desire to learn and grow as a designer.
  • Passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and impactful designs that elevate brand messaging.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably within a creative agency or in-house design team.
  • A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles and proficiency in relevant design software.
  • Experience designing for both digital and print mediums, including knowledge of file formats, color modes, and production processes.
  • Familiarity with design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies within the graphic design field.

Education

  •  4-Year bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field is typically preferred but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based work with extended periods of computer usage and focused design work.
  • Collaborative work with cross-functional teams, both in-person and remotely.
  • Flexible working hours may be required to accommodate project deadlines or overlapping time zones.
