We are a busy family owned and operated pet grooming business with three locations and a small fleet of mobile grooming vans. We have locations in Naperville, Aurora, and Warrenville. We are currently looking to hire a Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Primary job responsibilities:

As a Maintenance/Handyman Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities. This person may need to travel between each location when necessary. Our locations are approximately 15 minutes apart from each other, so travel is minimal.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
• Traveling between business locations or running to store for parts/supplies when necessary
• Grooming Equipment Maintenance & Repairs
• Plumbing System Repairs
• Electrical System Repairs
• HVAC Maintenance
• Washer / Dryer Repairs
• Vehicle Maintenance / Repairs
• Generator Maintenance / Repairs

Qualifications:

• Experience performing preventative and routine maintenance.
• Experience handling basic repairs such as drywall or door repairs
• Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Eye for detail
• Strong time managment skills
