POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day support for end-users both on-site and remotely. This position will also be responsible for installation, deployment, and support of desktop/laptop/mobile devices/peripheral devices, hardware, and software. Must be able to perform all duties and assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide IT technical support expertise including, but not limited to technology deployment, service troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and hardware and software inventory management.
2. Configure, install, maintain, and repair problems with PC hardware, software & LAN connections. The ability to provide basic LAN workstation support, including troubleshooting LAN problems to determine if the problems are workstation or server related.
3. Design and implement IT projects such as hardware updates and upgrades, software deployment, and computer system imaging.
4. Communicate with customers in person and over the phone and provide support for PC hardware and Software problems.
5. Provide support on all Windows OS’s, Office 365, Active Directory, and other various products.
6. Maintain maintenance information for PC hardware/software items and accurate inventory of installed hardware and software in accordance with defined IT policies.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCES:
1. Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. A Certification and/or Microsoft MTA/MCDST/MCP Certification preferred.
3. Excellent experience with Windows XP/Vista/7/10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, TCP/IP, and PC hardware troubleshooting.
4. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a technical, team-oriented environment, demonstrate customer empathy, good customer diplomacy skills, and problem ownership.
5. Excellent customer service skills.
6. Exposure to Cisco, SQL Server, and SharePoint desirable.
