Day to day, your role includes:Eloquently articulating our views on digital business philosophies, keeping clients up to date on industry contextSelling new project ideas that align with client goals, both customer and brandMaintaining a strong understanding of changes in the client's industry and how customer needs are adaptingContinually inspiring clients with strong storytelling skills - you're engaging, thoughtful and compellingPartnering with clients and capability partners to build active brandsOwning the financials for clients, including forecasts, budgets and investments - ensuring that key financial responsibilities are mutually understood and agreed uponDeveloping team members by coaching, training and identifying areas for growth - you'll offer direct and consistent feedback and encourage your team to learn from mistakesWillingness to travel as needed - you're open to new places, new faces and new ideasWe're looking for a talented VP/Account Director with impressive work experience, which includes:Experience with the development and execution of large sports sponsorship / sports events multi-channel activation campaigns (think Olympics, World Cup, European Cups, Superbowl, etc.) demonstrating rigor in thinking, consistency in approach and polish in execution for all the facets of the campaignIn-depth understanding of the sports world, itstarget audience, and competitive landscape to be able to partner with client to develop their goals and marketing strategies and with the internal teams to develop briefs and ideasA track record of creative and innovative sports centric projects leading cross-capability teams and fostering an environment able to deliver creative and powerful work that meets client objectives, pushes the creative envelope, and deepens the connection between the brand and the sports audienceAbility to develop and maintain positive and sustainable, long-term relationships with clients, partners and different stakeholders to activate sponsorships effectively, ensuring maximum exposure and ROI for the brandFour years of college education, MBA degree and 10 to 12 years of experience (ideally at a creative agency), including four years of leadership experience in integrated marketing and client relationship management with a digital scopeSuperb communication and presentation skills - you're articulate, straightforward, engaging and effectiveEffective time-management, impeccable organization and the flexibility to adapt quickly to changesProven project management and performance management skills - you're known for your ability to coach and develop talent, inspire and drive change, and bring varied groups together to collaborate effectivelyDemonstrated budget management and resource planning experienceGot what it takes?
