About being our Field Surveyor

KPG Psomas has an opportunity for an entry-level Field Surveyor to join our team! Our field surveyors are responsible for visiting various job sites and making precise survey measurements utilizing robotic total stations, digital levels, and network GPS rovers. Our Survey Department is currently involved in a wide variety of project work, including roadway and interchange improvements, boundary work, subsurface utility networks, airports, and construction layouts.

This position involves travel to job sites located throughout Washington, mainly in the greater Puget Sound area.

Responsibility Highlights for our Field Surveyor

• Assist with completing control networks, topographic surveys, construction staking, level loops, monument recovery, and as-built surveys.
• Perform other field surveyor's duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications to be our Field Surveyor

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver License (daily inspection includes travel to various job sites)
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Ability to pass a standard drug and alcohol test

Preferred Qualifications for our Field Surveyor

• Familiar with performing topographic and boundary surveys
• Familiar with GPS equipment

Availability Specific to our Field Surveyors

This is a full-time position. Work schedule is normally Monday through Friday 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.

• A competitive salary! The genuinely expected range for this position is $27.82 - $29.83 per hour depending on experience
