The Field Surveyor I performs project research, boundary calculations, and records accuracy of survey data, notes, and sketches. Surveys and investigates land surfaces to project precise measurement and location of lines, angles, points, areas, and elevations. Being a Field Surveyor I may have to complete an apprenticeship, and/or formal training in area of specialty. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent in the field.
