YourRole

We are hiring amotivated and resultsdriven Business Development Professional inthe Mid West (Chicago Indianapolis St.Louis etc).

Candidates shouldhave an advanced understanding of the industry market with a strongbackground in selling professional services in validation qualityengineering and related.

Seeking excellent communication andinterpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain longtermrelationships with customers and stakeholders. Travel isrequired.

  • Develop comprehensive businessdevelopment strategies and drive overall business objectives andgrowth.
  • Proactivelyidentify and engage with potential clients to understand theirneeds and effectively deliver our tailoredsolutions.
  • Driveclient engagement cultivating relationships with new and existingcustomers and serving as primary point of contact.
  • Identify market trends andactively target new business opportunities in the life scienceindustry.
  • Conduct thoroughmarket research to identify trends opportunities and potentialclients in order to identify key growth areas.
  • Analyze competitorsand industry dynamics to inform strategic business developmentinitiatives.
  • Develop and implementeffective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and businessobjectives. Utilize datadriven insights to make informed decisionsand adapt strategies asneeded.
  • Build and maintainstrong longlasting client relationships through effectivecommunication and a deep understanding of clientrequirements.
  • Monitor clientsatisfaction and proactively address any concerns orchallenges.
  • Develop and managebudgets forecasts and financial plans related to businessdevelopment activities. Monitor financial performance againsttargets identifying areas for improvement and implement correctiveactions.
  • Provide regularupdates and reports to upper management.
  • Travel and representthe company at industry events conferences and trade shows toexpand our network and visibility within the life sciencecommunity.
  • Collaborate withinternal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and clientsatisfaction.
  • Provide leadershipand guidance fostering a collaborative and highperformanceculture.
  • Additionalresponsibilities asrequired.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree inBusiness Engineering or related.
  • Proven success in abusiness development sales sales engineer project engineer orrelated role in the life sciencesindustry.
  • Directindustry clientfacing experience in an engineering or projectmanagement role within pharmaceutical manufacturing andbiotechnology is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years ofexperience in selling professional services related to validationservices quality engineering and soon.
  • Proven success ineffectively targeting opportunities for growth prospect andnurturing potentialleads.
  • Proven success inachieving sales goals.
  • Indepth knowledge ofregulatory standards and compliance requirements in the lifesciencesector.
  • Indepth knowledge ofthe industrymarket.
  • Proactive gogetterattitude and passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellentcommunication negotiation and interpersonalskills.
  • Goaloriented abilityto set goals and develop / drive actionplans.
  • Ability to foster andmaintain strong relationships with new and existing customers andadditionalstakeholders.
  • Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a dynamic fastpacedenvironment.

Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, orrelated. Proven success in a business development, sales, salesengineer, project engineer, or related role in the life sciencesindustry.

Direct industry, client-facing experience in anengineering or project management role within pharmaceuticalmanufacturing and biotechnology is strongly preferred.

Minimum of5 years of experience in selling professional services related tovalidation services, quality, engineering, and so on.

Provensuccess in effectively targeting opportunities for growth,prospect, and nurturing potential leads. Proven success inachieving sales goals.

Proactive, go-getter attitude,and passionate about providing excellent customer service.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Goal-oriented, ability to set goals and develop / drive action plans.Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with new andexisting customers and additional stakeholders.

Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-pacedenvironment. Motivated and driven, and willing to learn.

Adaptableand flexible. Travel is required.
