Description Royal Park Place , Independent Living Community in Zeeland, MI is seeking an Attendant for Part-Time . Providence Life Services offers a full range of services for families who need retirement living, assisted living, rehab, skilled nursing, and more.
The primary purpose of your job position is to be the Person in Charge of the building during working hours. Also, responsible for responding to emergency calls, and various housekeeping and security functions.
Hours Available : (1) Evening per week from 5 : 00PM - 11 : 00PM and (1) Weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday) from 7 : 00AM - 3 : 00PM.
Summary of essential job functions :
- Patient, caring & respectful.
- Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family member, visitors, government agencies / personnel, and the general public.
- Possess a basic knowledge of security procedures, regulations and current applicable laws, as well as procedures to follow during emergency conditions.
- Effectively connect and communicate with a range of personalities
- Demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public
- Honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
- Practice and promote the Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values and Founding Principles of Providence Life Services.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Must be responsible, reliable, have great phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50 pound lift test, and fingerprinting successfully.
