Description

Surgical Technologists are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients. Surgical technologists work under the supervision of the surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Coursework/Training Obtains at least 15 of approved CEUs per year to maintain certification (60 approved CEU every 4 years).
• upon hire: National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year Operating room experience; 2 years preferred.
