Protective Force International (PFI) is a Veteran owned and operated security contracting firm headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are changing the industry and standards of security services with highly trained Security Officers that are passionate about serving their communities.
Providing the safety and protection of our client or client’s property is PFI’s primary purpose. We are seeking candidates with strong commitment and dedication to become one of our high-standard Security Officers who undergo weeks of specialized training and are prepared to respond in emergencies.
Unarmed Security Officer Summary: Unarmed Security Officers maintain order by patrolling premises and monitoring the entrance of people or vehicles in a property. Our clients continue to come back and refer others because of the high-quality Security Professionals we employ .
Responsibilities:
Duties for an Unarmed Security Officer can include:
Securing exits and windows.
Identifying and removing trespassers.
Checking surveillance cameras.
Submitting surveillance/security reports.
Contacting law enforcement in case of emergency.
Maintain network with clients, using excellent customer service.
Promote PFI services and culture.
Participate in client’s evacuation procedures.
Requirements:
Officers must meet specific client needs/standards.
Expected to be proficient in the use of: Radio, ASP Baton, Handcuffs, Basic Medical Supplies, Taser, Pepper Spray, and Duty Firearm (if applicable)
Active NV Armed/Unarmed PILB Card.
*Nevada CCW Permit (Armed only)(Desired)
Valid Marijuana Contractor/Dispensary Permit. (Desired)
Active CPR/AED Card (Desired).
At least 21 years of age.
Valid Drivers License Required.
Reliable Personal Transportation.
Pass a comprehensive criminal background.
Pass Pre-Employment Drug Test including Marijuana. (Marijuana is illegal in the Security Industry).
Minimum of 1-year verifiable experience in customer service or security field.
Ability to learn, demonstrate proficiency in the use of defensive tactics, handcuffing techniques, various weapon systems, and basic first aid skills.
Ability to learn, demonstrate proficiency and effectively use various computer software, to include report writing systems, trespass documentation, and surveillance equipment.
Able to lead and mentor other employees.
Professional appearance and demeanor, trimmed and professional beards are allowed.
Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Able to effectively communicate in English (read, write, listen, speak).
