Prosoft is seeking qualified candidates for a remote Technical Project Manager / Business Analyst position with our client in Louisville, Kentucky.

• This is a direct-hire position with our client.
• Open to local or U.S.-based remote candidates able to work an Eastern Time Zone schedule.
• This position will not consider C2C candidates nor those on visas or requiring sponsorship. Our client is only able to consider current US Citizens and Green Card holders.

Position Responsibilities: 

• Ensure overall project success, define requirements, and conduct quality assurance activities.
• Manage project time, resources, finances, scope, and execution, overseeing teamwork.
• Serve as a liaison between functional users and technical team for complex information systems.
• Define user business requirements and ensure their implementation in applications.
• Redefine business processes to maximize application usage and adoption.
• Create and execute test plans, perform functional and user acceptance testing as needed.
• Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex system issues.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including communication, negotiation, risk management, and progress reporting.
• Shape client expectations, manage deadlines, and oversee project scope.
• Utilize broad knowledge of industry best practices to proactively identify and address project risks, analysis, and mitigation strategies.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• 4 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Product Owner, or similar role supporting technical teams and projects.
• Possess a solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Processes, including iterative, and Agile development methodologies.
• Proficient in using Project Management software.
• Exhibit strong organizational, professionalism, and time management skills.
• Apply effective analytical and presentation skills.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and adaptability to various audiences.
• Collaborate effectively with functional area SMEs and technical team members.
• Showcase strong skills in process analysis, documentation, and experience with workflow-based enterprise software projects.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of SQL, databases, and understanding of relational data models.
• Familiarity or experience in one or more technical solutions like application development, architecture, user interfaces, web services, business process modeling, relational databases, Business Intelligence, etc. (hands-on coding experience is not required).
