The Project Controls Specialist shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner. The Project Controls Specialist employee shall submit a detailed weekly report to the technical monitor addressing work accomplished, and deliverable progress.QualificationsDesired Qualifications For A GSSC Project Controls Specialist (PR0170) | Full-Time [W-2] Candidates:The Project Controls Specialist - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.Skills / Abilities / Education / Experience Requirements / QualificationsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSProject Controls Specialist personnel shall possess the following minimum qualifications:BS/BA degree in engineering, science, or business management, or alternatively, an accredited high school certificate plus 8 years of specialized experience in engineering, science, or business management, in addition to the requisite experience. MS/MA or PhD degree in a relevant field is considered to be 2 and 5 years of experience, respectively.Fourteen (14) years of directly applicable successful experience consulting or contributing on complex projects, including providing strategic, management, technical, or business assistance to significant projects or programs in a senior capacity and/or as a consultant.Executive experience with direct interface with client senior management.Resource will have demonstrated expert knowledge and senior-level experience in the following areas:Cobra database analysis and interface with P6 scheduling software.Hanford Site Project Controls Specialist forward pricing rates.Integration with other project controls functions including scheduling and risk management.Knowledge of DOE policies and procedures.Knowledge of Hanford Site mission, activities and priorities is preferred.Knowledge of DOE program and project management practices, policies, and procedures.Excellent communications skills.A knowledge of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and/or other MS Office tools.Compliance with site specific safety and security requirements, including badging and office protocols.Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site Project Controls Specialists.U.S. CitizenshipCompetencies Required"U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States CitizenExcellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.Other Requirements and Conditions of Employment ApplyMay be required to complete a Financial Disclosure StatementMust be able to submit to and qualify for varying levels of background investigative requirements, up to a Top Secret or DOE ""Q"" clearance."Ancillary Details Of The RolesTRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements.
