Experience: 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in the Accounting or Finance discipline is preferred

ProRecruiters is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Receives, sorts and matches vendor invoices to receiving documents.
• Obtains and ensures proper account coding and signature approval authorization.
• Inputs all invoices into the Enterprises Resource Planning system and maintains accounts payable records.
• Prepares weekly disbursement listing for approval to process payment checks.
• Generates vendor, customer and employee payable and refund checks.
• Monitor, initiate and post entries to jobs, including Order Cost (OCST) entries, as requested and authorized.
• Researches, reconciles and resolves vendor statements, phone calls, etc. concerning payment in a timely matter.
• Files and maintains paid and unpaid vendor invoices and statements in vendor files.
• Recommends and improves policies, procedures and systems to meet the company’s overall objections.
• Obtains and maintains vendor 1099 information and prepare annual 1099 reports.
• Other related duties as assigned
