Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

Location: Portland, OR or Denver, CO

Workplace Type: Hybrid

Salary Range: $80,700 to $115,400 base 5% – 10% bonus

The Role:

Propeller is looking for a full-time Salesforce Administrator to work within Propeller's Operations team and play a pivotal role in maximizing the potential of our Salesforce platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing the functionality of Salesforce through ongoing modifications, enhancements, customizations, and other initiatives. Additionally, they will work closely with our sales teams to enable and support their efforts, while also ensuring data consistency and accuracy within the system.

You will:

Own Product Roadmap & Enhancements

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.

  • Advise on system best practices as the company continues to mature its configuration of the Salesforce tool. Present recommendations to leadership team.

  • Implement and manage Salesforce customizations, including fields, workflows, validation rules, and other configuration changes.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize Salesforce functionality and streamline processes.

Maintain the Current Environment

  • Provide ongoing support to sales teams, including training users, creating reports, managing the backlog, maintaining data integrity, cleaning data, troubleshooting support tickets, and resolving issues.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and consistency across all Salesforce modules.

  • Maintain regularly circulated reports and dashboards and ensure data quality of all supporting data through data hygiene data cleansing protocols.

  • Be the main point of contact in onboarding new employees and leadership onto the sales platform.

Support Integrations with Other Propeller Systems

  • Coordinate with other system product owners on integrations, data flows, and cross-system processes and reporting.

  • Partner with marketing to optimize lead conversion by using data and understanding upstream marketing tools (Pardot) to drive lead nurturing strategies.

The Qualifications:

Must have:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in Salesforce administration, analysis and reporting

  • Current Salesforce Administrator Certification

  • Advanced experience with Salesforce Flows

  • Knowledge of data loader or other data transformation tools

  • Proficient in data analysis, analytics, and tech-oriented problem-solving

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; highly professional and diplomatic approach

  • Experience in training and process documentation

  • Proven ability to exercise good judgment and make day-to-day decisions with minimal supervision, escalating risks and issues where appropriate

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and travel within the US; hours may exceed 8 hours per day

  • Ability to demonstrate a legal right to work in the U.S.

Nice to have:

  • Basic Salesforce development including Apex triggers experience

  • Familiarity with multiple instances of Salesforce

  • Experience in the professional services industry

  • Experience with Pardot or similar Marketing Automation platform

The Specifics:

Compensation: We believe in fairly and equitably compensating our employees for their time and experience. We do that by offering a competitive salary, uncapped bonus eligibility, an employee stock ownership program, and many other benefits. Individual salaries are based on a variety of factors, including years of experience and specific skill sets. The base compensation range for this position is $80,700 to $115,400, plus a 5% - 10% bonus target, which is specific to the location for this job posting. Typically, individuals are not hired at the top of the range for their role; however, base pay ranges are reviewed and updated each year based on performance.

Location: We believe being physically present with each other and our clients strengthens our relationships, promotes creativity and innovation, and ultimately produces a stronger, more durable result for our clients and ourselves. Propeller employees work in a hybrid model, spending a portion of their week working from their local Propeller office and from their home. Applicants should currently live in Portland or Denver, or plan to relocate upon hire.
