Customer Care Manager

CampusParc at The Ohio State University

Salary Range: $58,000 - $65,000

Work Modality: In Office

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Ideal Experience:

  • This position is responsible for all aspects of the customer care call center team of 6.The ideal candidate will have previous parking industry experience, with a hospitality focus also being a top assett.
  • Progressive management experience with front-line team oversight
  • Established experience with scheduling and payroll is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business is helpful but not required.

Skills and Abilities we are searching for:

Team Leadership

  • You will recruit, hire, train and develop customer service representatives. 
  • You will set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. 
  • You will foster a positive and motivated work environment. 
  • You will manage scheduling and workload distribution for the customer service team. 

Customer Service Strategy

  • You will develop and execute a customer service strategy aligned with the company's goals and values. 
  • You will continuously improve customer services processes and procedures. 
  • You will monitor industry trends and best practices to enhance customer care strategies. 

Customer Issue Resolution

  • You will handle escalated customer issues and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. 
  • You will provide guidance and support to team members in resolving complex customer inquiries. 

Performance Metrics

  • You will establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the customer service team. 
  • You will analyze data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. 
  • You will develop action plans to address performance gaps and meet targets. 

Training and Development

  • You will conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of customer service team. 
  • You will promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the team. 

Customer Feedback and Insights

  • You will gather and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • You will use customer insights to make data-driven decisions and enhance the customer experience. 

Communication

  • You will maintain open and effective communication channels with other departments.
  • You will communicate customer feedback and insights to relevant teams for product or service enhancements. 

Technology and Tools

  • You will ensure that the team has access to and is proficient in using customer service software and communication tools.
