Responsibilities

• Rates and/or codes new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations and performs other policyholder service functions.
• Accurately enters business data in relevant applications
• Maintains policy files in proper order.
• Communicates by phone or letter with agents and company departments.
• Provides technical assistance in support of the Underwriting Operation.
• Interprets and applies verbal and/or written instructions, manuals and rates.
• May prepare requests for reports from information or service bureaus.
• High School diploma/Degree or its equivalent

• Experience with MS Office suites of products is preferred
• Good communication skills (both written and Verbal)
• Attention to detail is essential
• Above average typing skills
• Able to work as a team player with many different people, both inside and outside of the company
• Able to resolve problems and effectively manage time and schedules
