Project Solutions Inc. is Hiring a Remote Construction Project Manager

Position Title: Project Manager

Location: Largely Remote with 12 visits over the 2-year period at the Santa Fe National Forest Supervisors' Office in Santa Fe, NM and the Pecos/Las Vegas Ranger District in Las Vegas, NM and possibly near project sites

Period of Performance: Approximately April, 2024 to April, 2026

Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually based on experience

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for an exciting, mostly remote, opportunity in Santa Fe National Forest, NM. Project/Position Overview:

The primary duties are related to post-fire recovery operations including but not limited to road maintenance and repair, hazard tree removal, trail clearing, range infrastructure repair, and firewood harvesting. There is a need to coordinate the various project components and planning efforts and provide project management services.

This role is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Facilitate regular project and NEPA meetings at to-be-determined intervals with the project sponsor(s), project manager(s), project team members, and other appropriate stakeholders.
    • Facilitation at a minimum includes scheduling meetings (identifying mutually acceptable meeting times, sending out meeting invitations, reserving meeting rooms, etc.), drafting agendas, documenting meeting minutes, and documenting and tracking completion of action items.
  • Collect and document data on project progress and develop regular progress reports including budget and accomplishments tracking for partnership agreements, contracts, and district projects.
  • Draft program and project management documents as needed including project plans and requirements.
  • Develop a project schedule for milestones and phases and manage task completion according to the schedule. Keep the schedule current with weekly updates.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports of project plans, status, and schedules including presentation and discussion of program priorities, project statuses, significant accomplishments, risk management, and problem areas.

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:

  • PMP Certification (Required)
  • 5 years' experience proving similar services for similar projects and provide information regarding those projects.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, supervision and labor, and coordinate to meet the needs of the project.
  • Readily respond to questions, concerns, and comments and proactively alert the Government to potential contractual issues.
  • Written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of software including Primavera Project Planner (P3) Schedules, Microsoft Project, Word and/or Excel preferred.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
