Job Summary:
Under the task supervision of the Food Service Manager and the First Cook, the Floating Kitchen Aide (FKA) is responsible for assisting with meal prep, food service, facilitation and adherence to the cleaning schedule and sanitation standards mandated by NYC Aging and NYS Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. The FKA is required to work across the OAC meal sites as needed. The site location is subject to change regularly.

This position offers a flex schedule with shifts being 7:00am-3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm. Workdays can be any day needed including Sunday and Saturday. Please note this position requires the availability and flexibility to occasionally work some weekends and holidays.
Project FIND participates in E-Verify, which confirms employment authorization through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security. The E-Verify process is completed in conjunction with the Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification. E-Verify is not used as a tool to pre-screen candidates.
