Specializing in post hospital Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury and Orthopedic Trauma, Progressive Alternatives works in close cooperation with families, physicians, case managers and community resources in offering our clients creative, relationship-centered care and a complete range of services following hospital discharge. The Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for all direct client care in relation to programming, personal hygiene, comfort and safety. Additional responsibilities include administering medication, transporting client and maintaining a neat and clean facility. Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Interpersonal Skills
Ability and willingness to learn new skills
Willingness to be a team player
Ability to Set Priorities
Ability to lift, maneuver and carry up to 40lbs
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a vehicle to use while at work
Acceptable driving record
No at fault accidents
Knowledgeable of HIPAA Privacy Rules
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be willing to work holidays and weekends
