What You Will do at ProActive Technologies, Inc:
The Quality Configuration Manager is responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of the ProActive Quality Management System (QMS), including the ProActive Configuration Management System (CMS). Lead a team of engineers, inspectors, auditors, analysts, and technicians.
Responsibilities include:
The administration the QMS and CMS, ensuring that internal, industry, and regulatory standards are communicated and adhered too by internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Maintaining a risk register to capture risks and opportunities, and appropriate actions, related to the continued operation of the QMS and the CMS
Monitor, measure, and track performance against Quality objectives, and to lead corrective action when required.
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection and testing of hardware, software, and system as required to support program milestones.
Preform root cause analysis and lead the implementation of corrective actions prevent recurrence of defects.
Ensure timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
Manage audit program and conduct process audits.
Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
Ensures the proper archiving and version control for product and documentation releases and traceability.
Implements processes to systematically verify that proposed design changes conform to configuration interchangeability rules.
Communicates with Internal stakeholders, subcontractor, and customer representatives to establish change-reporting procedures and prepare directives for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor technical staffs.
Implement and maintain tools and databases to capture product data including requirements, specifications, drawings and associated lists, software source codes and executables, and change history.
Perform configuration status accounting, maintaining records of product configuration history, changes processed, and current product baseline status.
Ensure hardware, software, and process defects are documented and properly dispositioned.
Ensure that product configuration data is stored securely with appropriate backup systems.
Performs special projects as directed by executive management.
Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree is preferred.
