Responsible for managing all aspects of our manufacturing operation site including financial performance against budget/business plan, building and facilities, production employees, manufacturing support, equipment maintenance, and safety. Ensure we meet/exceed customer expectations for timely delivery of quality product utilizing good general business practices that are in full compliance with any state or federal requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY
1. Manage and maintain all buildings, facilities, and equipment so they are in proper operating condition as outlined in GMP’s to ensure optimal efficiencies and workplace safety.
2. Manage performance of all employees under your direction including hiring, disciplinary action and conducting of timely performance reviews to ensure expectations and accountability are maintained to company standards.
3. Manage staffing and work schedules for optimum financial and operational results.
4. Ensure proper training of new employees or employees moved to new roles in company.
5. Work with VP of Operations and Production Scheduler to establish production schedules based on customer needs.
6. Coordinate with other locations and share resources/knowledge for overall benefit of the Company.
7. Maintain production data and daily reports for Finance and Accounting.
8. Maintain preventative maintenance records, schedule preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the master maintenance schedule.
9. Provide cost analysis on labor requirements, delivery needs, and production costs.
10. Responsible for analyzing production history and data to establish forecasts for monthly and yearly planning purposes.
11. Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, shop floor requirements and staffing needed.
12. Maintains continuous contact with all production staff to monitor progress of orders through shop, expedite and adjust as necessary to meet customer expectations.
13. Problem solver for any obstacles that would interfere with timely production and delivery working with internal and external resources.
14. Prepares production reports tracking on time delivery as well as returns and allowances.
15. Responsible for Continuous Improvement in all aspects of production.
16. May be required to occasionally work evening and weekend hours as needed to ensure proper completion of duties.
17. Infrequent travel may be required including overnight trips for customer or vendor visits.
18. Perform all tasks safely and in a manner that will not create or pose a direct threat to the health and/or safety of any person. Report unsafe acts, safety risks, and conditions to your supervisor or lead immediately.
o Ensure equipment is used correctly use properly maintained.
o Maintain knowledge of chemical hazards and safety practices.
19. Regular attendance during your scheduled work time is required to perform in a satisfactory manner.
