Job Title: Security Officer
Duties:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access
- Conduct regular inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are properly secured
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or incidents on the premises
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and tenants with inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements:
- Must have a valid security license/certificate
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid procedures is a plus
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
