Assistant manager candidates must be ready to learn from the store manager, and reflect the best interests of the business to employees and customers in the absence of the store manager. We are looking for the next generation of the store managers, and candidates that are willing to acquire the skills and experience to move up within the company.

Assistant Manager Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist the retail store manager in organizing, planning and implementing strategies

- Coordinate operations and ensure schedules and objectives are met

-Supervise and motivate staff

-Interpersonal and mediation staff

-Monitor social media accounts , and assist in creating content

-Daily operations such as opening and closing store, counting cash drawers and safe.

-Be trusted with keys to the store and alarm codes

-Communicate with customers and evaluate their needs and specifications

-Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data

-Drive recruitment process and training and development

-Secure adherence to company's policies and guidelines

-Assist Store manager in merchandising projects

-Assistant Manager Requirements and Qualifications

- Minimum of two years experience in retail service or sales

- 1 years of retail experience in leadership capacity (e.g. management, shift leader, etc.)

-Ability to effectively train and motivate sales associates

-Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
