JF Restaurants, a creative and collaborative New York City-based hospitality group founded by Restaurateur & Michelin-starred Chef John Fraser, is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Coordinator based in NYC or the Tri-State area.

This position will join the corporate team to assist the marketing department and build awareness for the group’s restaurants.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this coordinator will play a key role in the public-facing marketing initiatives of the company.

Essential Duties :

• Provide input in marketing strategy and calendars to coordinate strategic initiatives for the restaurant.
• Work closely with Food & Beverage management to assist with special events and programming
• Assist with food & beverage video and photography projects
• Support graphic design projects
• Support marketing campaigns with copywriting and design ideas
• Collaborate with the external PR team to streamline messaging and support overall department goals
• Assist in social media marketing strategy, content creation, and initiatives
• Analyze and report on campaign metrics
• Remain up to date on current industry trends, resources, and strategies
• Additional administrate support and projects as needed and assigned by Marketing Director

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with a major in communications / marketing, business or a related field
• Must be a pro-active thinker and able to manage deadlines and projects, while wearing many hats within a fast-paced, fun, and diverse restaurant group portfolio
• Hardworking, organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated interest in the food and hospitality industry
• Professional and pleasant demeanor with a go-getter attitude
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills and desire to communicate and work with others
• Must be NYC to Tri-State area based as this will be a majority in-person opportunity
• Ability to take initiative and must have the confidence to learn in a dynamic environment
• Must be reliable with excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel within NYC to different restaurant locations, as needed
• Previous marketing / communication internships preferred
• Office and administrative experience
• Working knowledge of all basic computer programs (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, etc.)
• Adobe Creative Suite experience, a plus
