Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $17-21/hour

Our esteemed Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Practice in Chicago is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator Assistant to join our team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • ⁠ ⁠Prioritize tasks effectively, coordinate diverse activities, and make sound managerial decisions to ensure smooth operation of the practice
  • ⁠ ⁠Coordinate surgical appointments and procedures, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to patient satisfaction
  • ⁠ ⁠Utilize excellent communication skills to engage with patients, providing detailed information and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy
  • ⁠ ⁠Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration, contributing to a supportive and cohesive work culture
  • ⁠ ⁠Perform clerical tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining patient records and managing administrative duties
  • ⁠ ⁠Utilize social media platforms to engage with patients and promote the practice, showcasing our commitment to excellence in plastic and reconstructive surgery
  • ⁠ ⁠Utilize sales skills to support patient inquiries and consultations, contributing to the growth and success of the practice
  • ⁠ ⁠Travel to offsite offices as needed for training and collaboration, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the team

Requirements:

  • ⁠ ⁠High school diploma or equivalent
  • ⁠ ⁠Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably in plastic or reconstructive surgery
  • ⁠ Proficiency (English/Spanish) highly desirable
  • ⁠ ⁠Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound managerial decisions
  • ⁠ ⁠Strong team-building skills, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  • ⁠ ⁠Excellent communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • ⁠ ⁠Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems
  • ⁠ ⁠Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, demonstrating resilience and adaptability
  • ⁠ ⁠Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with weekends off
