The Digital Media Coordinator coordinates, plans, and facilitates a Digital Media after school youth program — Visionaries — where students engage in a technology based curriculum. Through this program, students demonstrate an increased knowledge in digital media art skills. 
The Digital Media Coordinator also supports other youth programs including but not limited to mentoring, sports and recreation, cultural events, and more. 
 in STEM fields.
This position is in partnership with the Expanded Learning Programs department, directly impacting our student population of primarily Latinx and immigrant families. 
30 hrs/school year. 40 hours/ summer.

POSITION SUMMARY: 
• Design, plan, coordinate, teach, and document a technology-based digital media program (Visionaries) for youth during after-school hours. 
• Maintain and monitor the Youth technology lab. 
• Support the department with all technology needs ranging from photography, computer updates, software purchases and updates, website upkeep. Etc. 
• Collaborate with the Youth Options Unlimited Team to enhance program quality
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in youth education or technology based program preferred
• Teaching experience highly preferred
• Broad knowledge of technology-based programs 
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
• Background check required
