Priority Staffing Group is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Near Marion, IL
- Perform routine, emergency and preventative maintenance along with general repair tasks for supportive housing program service offices and housing units
- Assist with unit turnover including securing vacant unit, removal of items left behind by previous tenant (s), general cleaning and various tasks such as painting, wall/door repair, carpentry, lock set changes, window repair, etc.
- Respond to work order requests from Property Manager and tenants, and address any issues promptly
- Maintain detailed records and accounting of funds spent for maintenance, safety and daily operational needs
- Share in 24-hour on-call property management emergency duties
- Assist Property Manager with conducting regular inspections to identify potential maintenance needs and lease violations
- Assist with pest control through routine treatment and/or scheduling emergency treatments with pest control contractors
- Assist with furniture and household supply deliveries
- Assist with maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment needed for maintenance tasks
- Conduct general upkeep for office buildings and apartment units such as mowing, landscaping, snow removal, and refuse removal
- Complete required trainings
- Participates in other reasonable activities as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable vehicle required.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience as a maintenance technician or in general building maintenance within a residential or multi-family setting preferred.
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred.
Hours can be flexible, and would most likely fall between the hours of 8am-5pm, unless an emergency call comes through.
Pay is $17.50-$20.50 based on experience.
