Printful is Hiring a Product Planning Manager Near Cincinnati, OH
- Supports Director of Strategic Product Planning in global snow product strategy & execution:
- Creates and maintains product roadmap for the year for their responsible product categories.
- Maintains product compliance -Making sure to understand various launch-related aspects, including what requirements the product must meet, if there are any restrictions in place.
- Defines product assortment for responsible categories using a good, better, best strategy to hit sales targets.
- Works closely with the Vendor Manager on new product opportunities.
- Sets product count recommendations & sales minimums by Tiers.
- Revenue planning for responsible product categories:
- Creates yearly sales plans for given categories.
- Reviews sales results and reforecasts plans every month.
- Adjusts product roadmap if necessary about sales forecasts.
- Identifies product opportunities & works with the Product Analysts on executing within their brands:
- Communicates trends & presents a strong business case for product initiatives.
- Responsible for hind-sighting results and setting action items.
- Pricing:
- Analysis and maintenance of existing pricing.
- Competitive analysis of pricing within responsible product categories.
- Strategic tests related to pricing & discounting strategies.
- Reporting:
- Responsible for running weekly reporting on given categories & creating a business recap that can be circulated to upper management.
- Sets vendor-level sales plans:
- Creates yearly vendor-level sales plans for top-volume driving vendors.
- Monitors sales pacing to forecast throughout the year.
- Maintains vendor matrix within each purchase type - POD, Inventory (Bespoke & Licensee), Dropship, Consignment:
- Ensures that the vendor matrix is accurate and up to date with our vendor partners and their purpose within the Snow ecosystem.
- Fosters strong vendor relationships:
- Meets with top vendors frequently to share business results & solicit feedback on market trends.
- Reviews product offering with the Product Planning Manager.
- New Vendor engagement:
- Engages with new vendors to determine the validity of adding to our vendor matrix.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- 3 years of experience in planning/allocation and/or buying.
- 2 years of experience in planning in a retail environment preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to implement creative and innovative ideas to increase merchandise sales.
- Proficient in Excel and experience with Demand Planning/Open-to-Buy tools.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Work well and develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
