Principal LED is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near San Angelo, TX

Job purpose

The primary duty of this position is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization. The position ensures the accuracy of invoices and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for products sold by the organization.

Essential Duties and responsibilities

  • Invoice customers
  • Record accounts recivable payments to customer accounts
  • Reconcile accounts recivable accounts
  • Make journal entries
  • Prepare sales by customer reports and rebate calculations
  • Prepare bank covenant reports
  • Help with preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Assists with year-en financial statement audit
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or 3 years related experience.

EXPERIENCE: Computer Skills and ability to use Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel). NetSuite ERP a plus.

PERFORMANCE SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting a plus
  • Advanced mathematical and logical deduction skills
  • Experience with customer service and client communication
  • Ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with accounting software programs

Working conditions

This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This is a largely sedentary role: however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

Direct reports

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
