QUALIFICATIONS FOR RDA OR DA:

Offering a Permanent Position - Full-Time

Full Time: Monday - Thursday

Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a one hour lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated RDA or DA to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of patients.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, crowns, and implant restorations
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic dental laboratory duties such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental reception area (only as needed)
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Follow proper aseptic techniques to prevent the spread of infection

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
