Primrose School Franchising Company is Hiring a Design Manager Near Atlanta, GA
- Performs courtesy reviews to pre-determine a potential school’s viability, supporting Franchise Sales and Real Estate.
- Reviews of site plans and playground layouts, checking for compliance with brand and life safety standards
- Manages plan review processes, including documentation with systems and serves as main point of contact between colleagues and franchisees for design guidance.
- Supports on-going maintenance of documentation support, both internal and external to Primrose Schools.
- Meets with ownership representatives to set project expectations, resolves any design issues and oversees conformance to Primrose requirements, including adherence to brand and life safety standards, building codes and ADA.
- Recommends and implements viable plans and strategies to ensure schools go through the plan review process in a timely manner.
- Establishes and implements methods to effectively manage assigned projects by evaluating and tracking all schools in various phases of design.
- Manages the electronic project management systems (eg. Expesite, Bluebeam, CRM, etc.) for content and accuracy of input for assigned projects.
- Provides timely written follow-up (eg. Reports, letters, emails, etc.) associated with all plan reviews and other forms of communication or agreements with Franchisees, as well as internal colleagues within Primrose.
- Addresses design and construction requests from franchisees.
- Provides design solutions to problems and recommends known design professionals to assist franchisee upon request, or as needed.
- Assists Senior Director, Campus Design with special projects and initiatives, as needed
- 5-7 years of related experience
- At least a bachelor’s degree of Architecture, professional licensure preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam, CAD, and Excel
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to multiple groups, both up and down/ internal and external
