We offer primary care and advanced specialized care in internal medicine, and neurology.

Position Summary :

The Payroll Administrator is a member of the HR team responsible for the processing of payroll, the set-up and maintenance of all employee data which interfaces with payroll, and the assistance with other HR duties and projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Paycor products and Microsoft Excel to manage payroll data and generate reports.

The Payroll Administrator will work closely with HR and Accounting teams to ensure that all payroll-related tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

This position is Part Time with potential for full time. Minimum 25 hours per week. Eligible for Medical Benefits. Flexible schedule (hybrid).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for all business lines.
  • Provide oversight and administration of the electronic timekeeping system, including reviewing and ensuring accuracy of approved timesheets.
  • Responsible for the initial set-up and on-going maintenance of all employee data which interfaces with Payroll; including but not limited to direct deposit, withholding taxes, wage garnishments / special payroll deductions, 401k contributions, and health insurance contributions.
  • Evaluate and document payroll procedures and processes. Proactively identify and drive new solutions to increase payroll effectiveness.
  • Set up new state and local tax accounts as needed.
  • Serve as the HRIS System Administrator, implementing changes and modifications as needed.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Paycor products.
  • Collaborate with HR and Accounting team members to identify issues, communicate with employees, assist with reporting, and identify new solutions.
  • Administer Workers' Compensation program coordinate with Third Party Administrator regarding Workers' Compensation Claims, complete Workers' Comp audits.
  • Complete annual government payroll & EEO-1 reports as required.
  • Upload employee information into the recognition and rewards platform, Awardco.
  • Other HR duties and projects as assigned.
  • Experience with Paycor Payroll, HR, & Time products strongly desired.
  • Skilled using Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations. Multi-state payroll experience desired.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Excellent problem solving / judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
  • Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment.
  • A committed team player and an effective communicator.
