PRIME RESIDENTIAL is Hiring an Engineering Lead, Business Intelligence Near San Francisco, CA
Prime Residential’s Engineering Lead of Business Intelligence is responsible for assisting the VP of Business Intelligence execute the development of business intelligence platforms across Prime Residential. The Engineering Lead will be responsible for building a complex data infrastructure system using existing and new data sources connecting to RealPage, Yardi, Engrain, Knock, Paycor and others. The Engineering Lead of Business Intelligence will develop and improve new and existing reporting processes for the company with a focus on internal PowerBI custom dashboards. The Engineering Lead will ensure that data is clean, automatically generated and stable, so all departments can trust the data that they use daily.
In this role, the Engineering Lead will communicate with the entire Prime Business Intelligence team and report directly to the VP of Business Intelligence. One’s ability to be creative, open minded and knowledgeable in data infrastructure is critical in this role. Reporting should be addressed expeditiously and with care, and continued diligence in providing outstanding analysis will be paramount to driving the standards of excellence.

What You’ll Do: Data Integrity
Develop and design reliable datasets that can be trusted and used by all departments with a focus on PowerBI custom dashboard development.
Help to build the infrastructure to create new company dashboards to track multifamily real estate performance.
Collaborate with technical colleagues to align key performance indicators (KPIs), and plan processes to achieve the overall company strategy
Provide data tools and results to all departments based on metric-driven data
Customer Service
Maintain a customer-focused culture of respect, responsiveness, and efficiency, developing Prime Residential’s reputation as a landlord of choice in the local market
Respond to other department successes and concerns with a sense of calmness, professionalism, and confidence
Escalate sensitive or intricate information as necessary
Present ideas to manager and other stakeholders for company-wide process improvement
Maintain Operational Standards of Excellence
Ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of all required reports to manager
Adhere to company protocols and practices
Attend all required and recommended training, and ensure compliance of all training requirements posted in learning management system
Ensure files and completed paperwork are organized neatly per company standards
Prepare charts, graphs and spreadsheets and collect data necessary to perform analysis for key stakeholders
Understand and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to Fair Housing, landlord tenant laws, as well as company policies
Work closely with all departments in performing the key functions of role
Any other tasks as deemed necessary by your direct manager
What You’ll Need:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or with emphasis on quantitative or technical study and Real Estate
Seven (7) plus years of prior analytical experience, preferably in real estate market
Hands-on experience with PowerBI, Azure, RealPage, Structured Query Language (SQL), data warehousing, modeling, dashboarding and reporting using large datasets and multiple data sources
Ability to build, develop, create and interpret data and produce meaningful insights
Proficiency with creating a vision of developing dashboards using a BI Visual Analytics tool with PowerBI and other platforms
Team player with strong communications skills
Advanced proficiency in PowerBI, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Organized and proactive style with ability to prioritize and multitask
