PRIME RESIDENTIAL is Hiring an Associate, Financial Planning and Analysis Near San Francisco, CA

The Associate, Financial Planning and Analysis at Prime Residential (Prime) is responsible for helping to develop, improve, and maintain internal financial reporting and forecasting for its multifamily portfolio.
Reporting into the Vice President of Capital Markets, you will be expected to analyze financial statements and operational results to forecast the long-term cash flow of the portfolio. Additionally, you will be communicating and working together with Prime’s Asset Management and Property Management teams to make business plan changes as necessary to maximize long-term cash flow.

What You’ll Do:
  • Create recurring financial analysis models in Excel to forecast NOI and cash flow based on multiple inputs.
  • Combine asset-level models to create a fund-level models that track IRR metrics.
  • Track monthly financial performance of assets and work with other departments to understand variances to budgets and underwriting.
  • Recommend and put into action changes to business plans based on data, return metrics, and cash on hand.
What You’ll Need:
  • BS/BA degree in real estate, finance, or a related field
  • Two or more years of financial analysis experience
  • Advanced proficiency in creating financial analysis models in Excel
  • Ability to create and maintain dashboards in PowerBI is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external parties to obtain and understand information
  • Familiarity with reports generated by multifamily housing management software
  • Familiarity with standard building envelope and mechanical systems in multifamily properties
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time
