Position purpose - Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Provides leadership and management oversight for Quality Control and Loan Defense Departments
·Liaises with C-level and other SVPs in establishing strategic direction of the organization and communicates strategy to departments of responsibility.
·Provides Quality Assurance oversite for the company and ensures compliance with all Agency and Investor loan quality rules.
·Ensures the organization complies with both the spirit and letter of all loan quality, legal, regulatory, operational, and ethical requirements.
·Identifies and analyzes risks and hazards to which PRMI, its employees, or consumers may be exposed.
·Establishes and manages third-party vendor relationships required to support the operations of the QA department.
·Participates and responds to Federal, State and Agency examinations and all QC reporting requirements.
·Plans, develops, and implements strategy for Compliance QC auditing for, ECOA, HMDA, TRID, and State Regulatory Compliance.
·Strong knowledge of fraud research and identification of patterns.
·Liaises repurchase demands, self-reporting requirements and fraud reporting responsibilities.
Qualifications
·Executive level of leadership skills and abilities
·Minimum of ten (10) years of mortgage banking experience
·Exemplary strategic visionary thinking
·Superior analytical and organizational skills
·Strong written and oral communications skills
·Management level knowledge of principles and practices of loan origination including credit analysis and risk, regulatory compliance, and SAR reporting.
Supervisory responsibilities
·Responsibility for overall risk, Quality Control management, and achievement of assigned goals and objectives.
·Supervisory responsibilities for Quality Control loan production, Loan Defense & Recourse Management.

The ability to work extended hours may be required.
