Pries Enterprises Inc is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Independence, IA
This position would be from 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday in house. This is not a remote position. Pay would be dependent on experience level but is salaried with benefits.
- Assist in maintaining and updating accounting records and files
- Check Sales Acknowledgments in company software
- Provide support for suppliers and customers in regard to accounts payable via phone and email.
- Post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data for use in maintaining records
- Generate Inventory PO’s, receive within Epics software and assist in inventory reconciliation.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before processing payments.
- Comply with and enforce all safety policies, practices and procedures.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in answering the phones if needed.
- Computer knowledge is required.
