Pride Support Services is Hiring a Direct Support Professional - L Near Saint Johnsbury, VT
Pride, Inc. Support Services seeks a caring person to work in the community and home with a a gentleman in his 60’s that had a stroke and has significant challenges with Aphasia. He enjoys playing basketball, going for walks and drives, going fishing and visiting his grandchildren. Looking for someone that is patient and caring, willing to travel to Burlington each week to support visits with his grandchildren. Looking for someone that is motivated to work with him on his rehabilitation and ultimate goal, to learn the skills to be able to live on his own again someday.
The support staff will provide support in Activities of Daily Living with warmth and compassion. Good communication skills a must, and daily documentation of Client activities related to his goals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
