We are seeking an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician to became a part of our team! You will assist in the preparation of medications under the direction of a pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
- Present a positive attitude
- Understand and follow pharmacy's policies and procedures
- Accurately process prescriptions using computer software
- Monitor storage and inventory of medications and supplies
- Assist pharmacist with typing, counting, labeling and dispensing medications
- Answer phones and ring customers at register
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Build trust and respect among co-workers to promote teamwork
- Provide exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pharmacy or other related fields preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Data Entry (Computer Rx experience preferred )
- Compounding experience preferred but not required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
