Visitor Experience Tour Guide
Preservation Distillery is the region’s first and only 100% pot-distilled bourbon producer in Nelson County. We’ve been quietly distilling our unique bourbons in one-to-three barrel batches since 2017. Our distillery and farm are located in the heart of the bourbon trail, right off the Bluegrass Parkway in Bardstown, Kentucky. The surrounding green pastureland encompasses what is now our distillery, based on the commitment to the art of slow distilling, and the ultimate goal of sustainability. We pride ourselves on providing unique and cultivated experiences that allow our guests to see the most unedited and unadulterated version of creating whiskey and ensuring high levels of authenticity and interaction.
The scope of this role is to work within a high performing team to ensure the best possible experiences for our guests. As a tour-guide, you will be expected to interact with customers in an engaging way, lead memorable experiences, and conduct tastings on a variety of high-end products. Each team member will assist in the on-going development of tour and tasting language, and uphold the quality of our experiences. This position is part time.
Responsibilities
· Conduct distillery tour and tasting experiences each day, following a specified time schedule.
· Perform bar-back duties on an as needed basis
· Provide an exceptional customer service experience by exceeding their expectations, demonstrating an excellent knowledge of the products, as well as the history and heritage of the company in accordance with the given materials.
· Contribute to the daily operations of the Guest House, by maintaining a neat and organized space, and adhere to all safety and sanitation requirements.
· Adhere to all safety policies of Preservation Distillery and contribute to our safe work culture.
Required Qualifications

· Experience working within customer service and/or hospitality
· Server Training in Alcohol Regulations
· Experience in similar or equivalent positions
· 21 years of age or older
