Premier Service is Hiring a HR Generalist Near Branch, MS

Our company is in search of an HR Generalist who will be responsible for
applying business knowledge and human resources expertise to execute HR
related activities on a professional level and foster the development of an
employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous
improvement, and high performance. This individual will provide a wide range
of guidance and support on recruitment, employee separations, performance
management, employee relations, and HR best practices while facilitating a
positive relationship between personnel and senior management.

Primary Responsibilities:
*Compile and track payroll data such as hours worked, absences,
occurrences, vacation and PTO eligibility
*Develop a recruitment and onboarding process necessary for hiring
and maintaining a superior workforce
*Prepares/maintains all hiring and termination paperwork
*Coordinate with operations and develop/support the implementation of
a system designed to acclimate new hires
*Coordinates random drug testing
*Assists managers with accident reporting
*Coordinates annual open enrollment for insurance
*Schedules employee reviews and coordinates with department managers
*Monitor the work environment/culture, promote employee engagement
and address issues that can impact morale
*Promote positive communication and constructive feedback through
training, one on one sessions and attendance at group meetings
*Develop and participate in company-sponsored committees/programs to
promote training, wellness, health & safety, work culture and improved
communications at all levels

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
* 2-4 years of progressive leadership experience in HR positions
* Understanding of relevant State and Federal employment laws
* Strong communication skills (oral and written)
* Attention to detail with excellent organizational and multi-tasking
skills
* Able to work independently, be resourceful, responsible with
confidential information and professional in all interactions
* Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel
* Demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
