- Provides families with an exceptional front office experience throughout their child's therapy program to enhance overall experience as well as family satisfaction outcomes
- Manages incoming referrals and practice’s waitlist
- Schedules new family appointments and ensures registration process has been completed
- Optimizes therapists’ schedules to improve families’ access to care
- Creates new client profiles within practice’s electronic health record
- Data entry and collect/post client payments into practice management and workflow systems
- Assists with educating families and implementing cancellation and attendance policies
- Contributes to the practice’s success by accepting new assignments, helping other team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve overall team results

- AA Degree or higher
- Minimum 2-5 years experience as a scheduler or front desk receptionist for a therapy or healthcare practice, preferably in pediatrics
- Ability to build rapport and articulate insurance benefit information, attendance/cancellation policies and scheduling information to families
- Strong ability to resolve conflict and create workable solutions with families and/or team members that results in positive outcomes
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments, with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy
- Working knowledge with software programs Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, video conferencing platforms, etc.
- Knowledge and understanding Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Successful completion of a FBI Background Check
- Negative TB Test
- Proof of full vaccinations against COVID-19
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience working in a pediatric practice
