Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks. Duties: - Provide desktop support to end-users, including hardware and software troubleshooting - Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals - Set up and manage user accounts and access rights - Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner and resolve technical issues - Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups - Collaborate with other IT team members to implement network security measures - Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures - Conduct software installations, updates, and patches - Analyze system logs and identify potential issues or areas for improvement Skills: - Proficient in TCP/IP networking protocols and concepts - Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system - Strong knowledge of desktop support principles and practices - Familiarity with Group Policy Objects (GPO) for Windows environments - Ability to troubleshoot software issues and perform root cause analysis - Knowledge of Meraki or other network management tools - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Familiarity with Linux operating systems is a plus - Solid understanding of computer networking principles If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for technology, we would love to hear from you.
