SUMMARY: The IT Technician provides comprehensive technical support to our organization. They possess a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications, coupled with excellent troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT infrastructure. The IT Technician will also be responsible for assisting users with technical queries, providing training when necessary, and implementing security measures to protect data and systems.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience and Education:
· Must have an Associate’s degree from an accredited College in Computer science or comparable on the job experience.
· Must be familiar with server grade applications, roles, and features. (Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
· Must be familiar with virtualization in a business environment. (Specifically, HyperV)
· Must be computer literate especially in MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Windows operating systems.
· May have some experience with VB and/or SQL.
· May have some CAD experience.

o Safety glasses are required in designated areas.
o Company supplied uniforms and/or gowning must be worn in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers. Must be able to speak and hear. The employee is required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally sit, stoop and crouch. Requires mental and visual attention to detail as well as hand coordination. Occasionally lifting or moving average weight material of up to 50lbs. Please be aware that flow of work and character of duties involve normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination or part-time normal and part-time concentrated attention and coordination.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Employee must be able to read and interpret documents written in English. Employees must be able to have effective communication with fellow employees, supervisors, and management.
