Premier Logitech is Hiring a Senior Manager, Quality and Safety Near Coppell, TX

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Quality and Safety will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our organization. This leadership position involves developing, implementing, and managing quality assurance, control and training systems to guarantee the delivery of products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations. In addition, this position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs to ensure a secure and healthy work environment for employees. The Senior Manager, Quality and Safety will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee quality processes, promote safety regulations and standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall organizational performance to support Premier’s Customer First approach. The incumbent will analyze information for quality improvement and develop, document, implement and measure quality control procedures as well as fostering a safety-conscious culture.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Quality Management System and Program.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Oversee documentation control, change management, and process improvement.
  • Lead and inspire a team of quality professionals across multiple locations for a variety of business units and customized criteria.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and training to ensure a high level of competence.
  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Develop and execute a strategic quality plan aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify, create and share key quality metrics and performance indicators for each job as well as across the company.
  • Collaborate with senior management to integrate quality into business strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback and complaints.
  • Implement measures to enhance customer satisfaction and address issues promptly.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand and meet customer expectations including customer required quality metrics and production standards as an extension of their organization and/or factory.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies as necessary.
  • Develop and deliver quality-related training programs.
  • Ensure that employees at all levels are adequately trained in quality processes.
  • Create and Manage 5S/6S program, including developing standards, overseeing internal audits and recognition.
  • Conduct internal audits to validate current quality processes according to quality manual.
  • Oversight of Safety Committee.
  • Develop, implement and manage a safety program to include audits and inspections.
  • Create and update safety policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Facilities on Safety Efforts.
  • Assign safety improvement tasks to safety committee members or direct reports.

Skills and Specifications Required:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Business).
  • 7 years’ experience as Quality Manager, leading quality teams.
  • Proven experience in a senior quality management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices preferred.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies is desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality compliance.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is desirable.
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO9000, SOC, etc.).
  • Conscientious and responsible, with a keen eye for detail and a results driven approach.
  • Knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma and 5S, Green belt training preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office.

Physical Requirements, with or without accommodation:

  • Ability to frequently stand, walk and sit and bend
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a non climate controlled environment
